Faculty for the Future impact evaluation

Client: Schlumberger Foundation, France
Project conducted: 2011

The Schlumberger Foundation established the Faculty for the Future program in 2005 to “generate conditions that result in more women pursuing scientific disciplines” within the developing and emerging economies. The program provides awards for women from these countries to study for science and engineering higher degrees at world-leading research universities.

Drawing on one-to-one interviews, focus groups and a survey of former and current fellows, the impact study sought to assess early impact of the Faculty for the Future programme.
