Evaluation of Olin College's external engagment stratgy

The founding precepts of Olin College of Engineering state that it should be “an important and constant contributor to the advancement of engineering education in America and throughout the world”. In the two decades since its establishment, the College’s external engagement agenda has steadily grown in prominence and ambition.

Dr Graham undertook an independent assessment of the strategy and impact of the College’s external engagement activities to date. The evaluation drew on one-to-one stakeholder interviews (n=68) as its primary evidence source. The interview evidence was supported by an analysis of institutional data/information held by Olin and by a snapshot review of alternative institutional approaches used to inspire and advance higher education reform across the world.
